We pick you up from your hotel. On the boat the instructor fits your gear and you practise breathing at the surface. Nobody goes under before they are ready.

Kızılada plateau
The first real dive starts here. Light is still plentiful and visibility is open. A try-dive stays entirely within this band.
15 m
The natural slope
The plateau ends and the bottom begins to tilt. Colours cool, sound falls away. By now you have learned to equalise.
20 m
The underwater amphitheatre
Kızılada's rock formation curves into a semicircle here. The most photographed spot in Fethiye.
30 m
The Afkule dome
A cave mouth fifteen metres wide and a dome-shaped hollow. Trumpet anemones, lace coral, lettuce coral. Certification required.
40 m+
The outer wall
Afkule's outer wall drops to sixty metres. This band is reserved for advanced divers on planned deep dives.

What does a dive day look like?
Times can shift with the weather and the location of the group's hotels, but the shape of the day stays the same.
All you need is swimwear, a towel, sunscreen and ID. We provide every piece of diving equipment.

FAQ
I cannot swim. Can I still dive?
Yes. On a try-dive the instructor stays with you underwater and handles the navigation. Swimming is not required, but staying calm in the water matters. We test that at the surface, and if you are not comfortable nobody pushes you.
Is there an age limit?
The minimum age for a try-dive is twelve. There is no upper limit, but anyone with a heart, respiratory or ear condition needs a doctor’s clearance.
How large are the groups?
On try-dives one instructor takes a maximum of two people at a time. For certified divers it is four people per guide.
Do you offer underwater photos and video?
Yes, but it is not included in the package. You can request it on the boat for an extra fee. The footage is handed over digitally at the end of the dive.
What happens if the weather turns?
If a dive is cancelled we move it to another available day. If your holiday ends and no alternative day works, any payment made is refunded in full.
Do I need to pay to book?
No. Once we have your request we call you within twenty-four hours to agree the day and the pick-up point. Payment is made on the day of the dive.
